[Books] The Short Stories of Ernest Hemingway

I'm sure Hemingway will be no stranger to this blog, considering he's one of my favorite authors and his wisdom is this humble site's namesake. So I thought it fitting his literature be my first recommendation.
I picked up my copy of The Complete Short Stories at a Half Priced Books and it is probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. Not only am I currently taking a class on short story writing, but given a busy college schedule, it's easy to read a story or two before bed without feeling too much more of a commitment.
Hemingway is the maestro of short stories and if you're new to the short story sphere, his are a good place to start. They will take you to the safari and around the globe and his characters are bold and convincing. Read "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber," a husband and wife's safari hunting adventure, and you will be hooked.
If you have already read even a little Hemingway, you need no convincing. If you have not, he's an absolute must read. Enjoy a short story.
