Coming in at an average age of 17, and out of the footsteps of bands like Bloc Party and Two Door Cinema Club, Stroudsburg, PA band Edelweiss' debut EP Pre-Columbians packs a punch at first listen. Define them by their age and you'll be sorry - the quartet generates a unique brand of high-energy indie-pop, with tight guitars and palpitating rhythms that suggest the expertise of bands only seen headlining national festivals. Give them a couple years and I'm sure they'll be there. They are already spreading the love through the NYC club circuit, and are at work on a new EP that promises to build and mature on their already impressive sound. But until then, I suppose we'll have to enjoy placing the EP on repeat and keep a keen eye on their soundcloud for new demos. Stream the EP and first single "Icarus" below for your first taste and watch out for them. They're coming.
