I've been really under the weather lately, so sorry for the infrequent posts these past couple of days. For those looking for some really good folk, look no further than Norwich, England band Port Isla. Their single "Sinking Ship" is a brilliant rambling track at times sounding a bit like Fleet Foxes. Their use of piano melodies sometimes makes me recall The Head and the Heart as well. Let there be no mistaking though, Port Isla is something all their own, creating folk anthems that go down smoothly.
