March 19th will be a highly anticipated day for me, single handedly from hearing Brooklyn based Phosphorescent's new single "Song for Zula." It's off his upcoming album Muchacho (great name) out March 19th on Dead Oceans. It's a slow burner best heard in the depths of the night. AKA it's the best kind of music. Matthew Houck is a genius and it's a damn shame it's taken me so long to take a listen. I'll be going through his discography very soon. But for now, you have to listen to "Song for Zula" below and stream the rest of the beautiful thing on NPR.
